- Are your regular Thursday open evenings still on?
- No, we now hold an open day every few months rather than open evenings on Thursdays. This change allows us to offer higher-quality tours to prospective members, and make better use of limited volunteer time.
- I only need to use this one tool, could I just quickly…?
- Sorry, due to our membership-based structure and insurance stipulations, our facilities are only available to our members, and cannot be hired or used on a one-off basis.
- I need to start my project urgently! Can I join and start working immediately?

Once you join the at an Open Day, you can start using the space immediately!
Please be aware that a few pieces of of our equipment (such as the welder, lathes, and laser cutter) also require you to undertake a safety induction before you can use it. These inductions are run by volunteers in their spare time, and can take a little while to arrange. For these reasons, we might not be best choice if you need immediate use of the facilities.

- This is not a service we aim to provide, you may be better off trying one of Bristol's numerous Repair Cafes.
