- Yes! We hold regular open evenings throughout the year, where you can have a tour of the facilities and become a member if you wish. Full details here.
- I only need to use this one tool, could I just quickly…?
- Sorry, due to our membership-based structure and insurance stipulations, our facilities are only available to our members, and cannot be hired or used on a one-off basis.
- I need to start my project urgently! Can I join and start working immediately?
Before you can join, you need to come to an open evening and take a tour. You can then sign up and become a member straight away, if you want to!
But please note that some of our equipment also requires you to undertake a safety induction before you can use it. These inductions are run by volunteers in their spare time, and can take a little while to arrange. Because of this, we might not be best choice if you need immediate use of the facilities.

- This is not a service we aim to provide, you may be better off trying one of Bristol's numerous Repair Cafes.
